Natalia's 34th Birthday

It means so much to our family that so many of you remember and honor Natalia during her birthday month!  312 acts of service were done in her memory this year.  We are so humbled and grateful.

Natalia's 34th Birthday is Coming!

October is HERE!  That means its time to do our traditional Service for Natalia for her birthday!!! 

 We invite all those who knew and loved her to join us!  Simply comment below to report your service!  DO THIS BY CLICKING ON __COMMENTS BELOW! Or share your service on social media with the hashtag #servicefornatalia.  We would love to know what you did in her honor, but understand if it is to personal.  In that case, just write "1 act of service."

Natalia LOVED children, and children LOVED her!  So this year we decided that our family would pack some shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child.  If you would like to join us, and pack a shoebox for a child, go to THIS LINK,  You are welcome to take it to a donation drop off location, or drop it off to Camille, or Doris' homes.  We know Natalia would LOVE to see more children smile, and especially at Christmas!  Christmas was her FAVORITE! 

On October 16th we will take the total number of acts of service and display it up by her grave. (Please report by October 15th!)  Since Natalia would be turning 34 this year, let set a goal to get 340 acts of service!!!  Thanks for helping us celebrate Natalia's life by the way she lived her life.

Natalia's 33rd Birthday Celebration

Each year we set a crazy unrealistic goal of how many acts of service we want to do for Natalia's Birthday, and each year we somehow surpass it. This year the goal was 330 for her 33rd birthday. 392 acts were recorded. Each year as I scroll through the posts of each act done in her honor I can't help but dry the tears that fall from pure gratitude and love for the amazing people in our lives, and the amazing things they are doing. Thank you most deeply for making another ‪#‎ServiceForNatalia‬ year so successful. WE LOVE YOU NATALIA!!!!!!

Service Ideas

--Leave a surprise snack at a Muller Park trail head (That's where she and Matt were engaged!)

--Leave a surprise for a student to find at Woods Cross Elementary, Millcreek Junior High, or Woods Cross High School.  All the schools she attended.
--Bring a little surprise to give to a parking booth attendant.  She worked as one for years!
--Donate a Doll, Bear, or Tea set.  Natalia loved all 3.
--Do something to help a child.  Natalia LOVED children.
--Play a board game with someone.  Natalia LOVED playing games.
--Surprise someone with Jazz tickets.  Natalia was the biggest Jazz Fan.
--Surprise someone with BYU tickets.  Natalia was a huge fan of BYU.
--Cuddle up and watch a chick flick.  Natalia's favorites were "While you were Sleeping", and "Runaway Bride."
--Surprise someone with a pizza from Pizza Hut.  Natalia's favorite.
--Share one of Natalia's treats with a neighbor- Cookie Dough Brownies, or Mint Ice Cream!

Gather your friends and/or family and throw a party!

Do something extra special for your spouse!

Give someone a sincere compliment. 

Send a surprise package to someone!

Take someone camping, on a hike, or a nature drive!  A little outdoors is good for the soul!

Use your tool set to help someone fix something!

Smile.  Its amazing how much good a simple smile can do.

Lift a child.  Sometimes they just need a hug, a kiss, a treat, or a shoulder ride.

Take pictures for someone.  You never know when those pictures might become priceless to them.

Put your arms around someone who is having a hard day.

Take a friend somewhere fun!  (Disneyland not required...)

Sit down and give someone your time and listening ear.  Sometimes all we need is to talk.

Give your family your best efforts.

Give a ride to someone!

Donate coats, gloves, ect... to a local homeless shelter

Be a good sister.  Natalia was the best.

Take someone golfing!

Take someone shopping...

Help make someone's dreams come true!

Make someone laugh!

Make a special treat for someone!

Have a family sleepover.  Try it.  Its fun.

Natalia's 32nd Birthday!

We spent Natalia's special day taking her boys to see her name on the Celebration of Life wall.

This explains what the wall is...

I love love love watching these handsome boys grow up.  They both have so many qualities of Natalia, and remind us of her constantly.  Love them so much!

That night we all met at the grave to sing her happy birthday,

and release balloons into the air with notes to Natalia attached.

We displayed all the acts of service, but putting one dot for each act of service done in Natalia's honor.

We had 340 at the time of display, but since then we have had 382 services reported.  Absolutely amazing.

I love when her grave is all decorated!!  I am so grateful to my parents who keep the grave looking nice and always have a decoration there.

Natalia's 32nd Birthday
