Natalia's 37th Birthday is Coming Soon!

October is HERE!   That means its time to do our traditional Service for Natalia for her birthday!!!  She would have been turning 37 years old.

Our family invites you to join us in a project!  Natalia had a strong love for dolls, teddy bears, 

and board games.  

So this year we want to gather as many NEW teddy bears, dolls, and board games as possible to donate to Shriners Hospital in her honor.  (If we get an abundance, we have 4 other organizations that would love to receive them as well!)

Camille and Doris will have a donation box at their house.  Of if you would rather skip the shopping, you can Venmo @JCRogers6 and we will shop for you!   Or you can simply buy something from our Amazon Wish List  and it will ship to Camille's house.  

On October 16th we will take the total number of acts of service and display it up by her grave. (Please report by October 16th at 9:00am)  Our goal is 300 acts of service!  Thanks for helping us celebrate Natalia's life, by the way she lived her life.

Happy 36th Birthday Natalia

A huge thanks to all those who served in honor of Natalia's birthday!  237 acts were recorded at the time of posting, and since then we have reached 301!  It means a lot to our family to have so many people remembering her, and honoring her in such a positive way.

After the cemetery we had the opportunity to take the 43 donated birthday kits (THANK YOU!!!) to the Bountiful Food Pantry.  We were able to serve for an hour there.  It was a really neat experience.

Our family invites you to join us in a project that we think is perfect for honoring her birthday!  We are making birthday kits for the Bountiful Food Pantry!  Here are the details; 

Theme the Party Fun Pack with generic Happy Birthday items or choose a current and relevant theme for a child 1-12 years old.  Birthday kits may include (but are not required):

Package of Party Hats (8ct-12ct)

Noisemakers/Blowers (8ct-12ct)

Streamers (1-2 roll)

Balloons (12ct)

Birthday Banner (1ct)

Party Game (1ct) (“pin the tail” or similar game)

Cake Mix (1ct)

Frosting (1ct)

Package of candles
Disposable pan to cook the cake in (many don't have a pan)

Please package all items together in a fun birthday gift bag or box. Label with approximate age

range.

You are welcome to donate a whole kit, or a piece of a kit!  You can drop your donations off to Rick and Doris, or Camille and Jeremy.  On October 15th our whole family, including Natalia's twin boys will be delivering the kits to the food bank, and spending an hour serving there!  We can't wait!

Happy 35th Birthday Natalia!

Happy 35th birthday to our Natalia! It's our 11th time celebrating her birthday without her here. 💔 It feels like longer to me. We continue to celebrate her life by doing #servicefornatalia, sending notes on balloons up to heaven, and eating pizza and s'mores. A huge thanks to those who joined us in #servicefornatalia recording 350 acts of service in her honor! (326 at the time of posting) Another HUGE thanks to all those who helped us raise $905.00 to help a couple in Texas rebuild their home and supplies. I can't wait for my brother to deliver the gift cards to them!! So grateful for the time we were blessed to know this amazing lady! Love you forever and always Natalia!!!

Our family invites you to join us in a project dear to my brother's heart, which I'm sure is dear to Natalia's heart then too;  

As many of you know my brother Phillip lives near Houston, TX.  He has been heavily involved in the rescuing, sheltering, and mucking of those affected by the hurricane.  He has one couple that his church group helped rescue, shelter, and muck their home who does not have insurance, and FEMA is not doing enough to help. They have big hearts and were sheltering their neighbors for a long dark night before they unfortunately found themselves needing to be rescued.  They need to rebuild their home, and lost all their bulk food supply.  We would like to raise some money to help them get back on their feet.  The money we collect will be used to buy a Lowe's/Home Depot gift card, and Costco gift card, that Phillip will personally deliver.  If you would like to donate $5, $10, $15, $20+ to this family you can bring it to Camille or Doris, mail us a check, or send it through Venmo @JCRogers6

Natalia's 34th Birthday

It means so much to our family that so many of you remember and honor Natalia during her birthday month!  312 acts of service were done in her memory this year.  We are so humbled and grateful.

Natalia LOVED children, and children LOVED her!  So this year we decided that our family would pack some shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child.  If you would like to join us, and pack a shoebox for a child, go to THIS LINK,  You are welcome to take it to a donation drop off location, or drop it off to Camille, or Doris' homes.  We know Natalia would LOVE to see more children smile, and especially at Christmas!  Christmas was her FAVORITE!
