Service for Natalia- Her 38th Birthday is Coming Up!

October is HERE!   That means its time to do our traditional Service for Natalia for her birthday!!!  She would have been turning 38 years old. 

We invite all those who knew and loved her to join us!  Simply comment below to report your service!  DO THIS BY CLICKING ON __COMMENTS BELOW! If you desire, you are welcome to join our family in participating with us in donating to Joyful Welcome!    

"Joyful welcome is an organization dedicated to supporting the community by supplying essential baby items to newborns and their mothers.  We believe babies born into our community, through local hospitals should begin their new life with something new, warm, and filled with love."  They serve 6 hospitals in Utah.  

If you knew Natalia you know she LOVED babies!  She wanted to have at least 12 babies!  (That changed after having twins...)  

As a little girls she loved dolls.

As a tween/teen she loved to babysit.  

Then her dream came true when Logan and Mason were born!  She was the BEST mommy ever.  I know she would love this project to help new moms and babies!    

This year we want to gather as many items as we can to donate to Joyful Welcome!   Their very high need items are; socks, books, baby soap and lotion, stuffed animals, and baby boy quilts.  

Here is the list of all needed items

• Booties/Socks

• Baby Wipes

• Burp Cloths

• **Please Note: All Donations Per Hospital and Joyful Welcome Request Must Be NEW Clothing (size 0-3 or 3-6 months)

Camille and Doris will have a donation box at their house.  Of if you would rather skip the shopping, you can Venmo @JCRogers6 and we will shop for you!   Or you can simply buy something from our Amazon Wish List  and it will ship to Camille's house.  

In the middle of October (Date TBD) we will take the total number of acts of service and display it up by her grave.  Our goal is 300 acts of service!  Thanks for helping us celebrate Natalia's life, by the way she lived her life.

Thank to many generous donations, we were able to take all of this to donate to Shriners Hospital! 

They were so incredibly grateful!

We were even able to go on a tour and see just how amazing this place is!  So grateful we could contribute in some small way.

Fantastic night celebrating our Natalia.  402 Acts of service done in her memory!  Including 80+ baby dolls, stuffed animals,  and board games that were donated to Shriners Hospital!  Thank you so much for your generosity!

and board games.  

So this year we want to gather as many NEW teddy bears, dolls, and board games as possible to donate to Shriners Hospital in her honor.  (If we get an abundance, we have 4 other organizations that would love to receive them as well!)

Happy 36th Birthday Natalia

A huge thanks to all those who served in honor of Natalia's birthday!  237 acts were recorded at the time of posting, and since then we have reached 301!  It means a lot to our family to have so many people remembering her, and honoring her in such a positive way.

After the cemetery we had the opportunity to take the 43 donated birthday kits (THANK YOU!!!) to the Bountiful Food Pantry.  We were able to serve for an hour there.  It was a really neat experience.

Our family invites you to join us in a project that we think is perfect for honoring her birthday!  We are making birthday kits for the Bountiful Food Pantry!  Here are the details; 

Theme the Party Fun Pack with generic Happy Birthday items or choose a current and relevant theme for a child 1-12 years old.  Birthday kits may include (but are not required):

Package of Party Hats (8ct-12ct)

Noisemakers/Blowers (8ct-12ct)

Streamers (1-2 roll)

Balloons (12ct)

Birthday Banner (1ct)

Party Game (1ct) (“pin the tail” or similar game)

Cake Mix (1ct)

Frosting (1ct)

Package of candles
Disposable pan to cook the cake in (many don't have a pan)

Please package all items together in a fun birthday gift bag or box. Label with approximate age

range.

You are welcome to donate a whole kit, or a piece of a kit!  You can drop your donations off to Rick and Doris, or Camille and Jeremy.  On October 15th our whole family, including Natalia's twin boys will be delivering the kits to the food bank, and spending an hour serving there!  We can't wait!

Happy 35th Birthday Natalia!

Happy 35th birthday to our Natalia! It's our 11th time celebrating her birthday without her here. 💔 It feels like longer to me. We continue to celebrate her life by doing #servicefornatalia, sending notes on balloons up to heaven, and eating pizza and s'mores. A huge thanks to those who joined us in #servicefornatalia recording 350 acts of service in her honor! (326 at the time of posting) Another HUGE thanks to all those who helped us raise $905.00 to help a couple in Texas rebuild their home and supplies. I can't wait for my brother to deliver the gift cards to them!! So grateful for the time we were blessed to know this amazing lady! Love you forever and always Natalia!!!
